The Bank Julius Baer Hong Kong project involves the interior renovation and fit-out of four office floors within the 41-storey Two Taikoo Place, a Grade-A commercial tower in Quarry Bay. With a total floor area of approximately 9,200 square metres, the project delivers a premium workplace environment supporting private banking operations, client services and staff collaboration. Building services engineering played a critical role in meeting the stringent functional, regulatory and operational requirements of a banking environment. Mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems were designed to achieve high levels of reliability, redundancy and indoor environmental quality, while integrating seamlessly with the base building services of a high-rise commercial tower. The engineering scope covers office areas, executive and client spaces, club facilities, multi-function rooms and landscaped zones. Engineering solutions support flexible layouts, advanced IT and communication infrastructure, as well as enhanced thermal comfort and acoustic performance, while ensuring efficient operation and long-term maintainability.
